Job Description
This Paint/Body Shop Estimator will assess damage to vehicles, estimate repair costs, and prepare insurance forms. The position is negotiable and based on experience, with an initial annual salary of $60,000 and a 5% commission. Candidates should be proficient in interpreting repair manuals and using estimation software.
Requirements
- 2+ years in body repair, estimating, or a related field
- Proficiency in interpreting repair manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Experience with estimating software (Adjust-Rite, Karmak, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
