Job Description
The Fleet Technician 2 will repair and diagnose major truck and trailing equipment, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and air conditioning systems. They will perform preventive maintenance, tire replacement, and follow standard operating procedures. This position requires both diagnostic and repair skills, along with customer service and safety adherence.
Requirements
- 2-4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational / technical or certification preferred
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Broad understanding of fleet maintenance policies and DOT standards
- Specialized training in vehicle repair preferred
- Proficient in using shop tools
- Team player with excellent communication skills
