Senior Product Development Engineer

Product development engineers design quality products that represent the company well, keeping trends and consumer needs in mind. They conduct tests, document results, and improve existing design and development standards. They also meet with various departments to review prototypes or discuss design modifications.

Requirements

• Lead multiple engineering projects through product lifecycle
• Provide support to current product quality through investigation and development of test stands
• Coordinate with drawing office for project requirements
• Develop 3D models and 2D print specifications as needed
• Executes automotive component evaluations and first article inspections as needed
• Prepares, 3D prints, and post-processes prototype/production parts as needed
• Coach, teach, mentor less experienced department staff
