Half Day Preschool - Activity Leader I

Join the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis as an Activity Leader I for our Half Day Preschool program. Responsibilities include providing safe programs and environments, assisting with administrative duties, and communicating with parents and participants. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with young children, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old and a high school diploma, or its equivalent, is required.
• Experience working with young children/adults preferred.
• Knowledge of children ages 2-6 and an understanding of their needs and development.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children, family and YMCA staff.
• Current certifications in First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation required.
