Job Description
Pressure Relief Valve Technician II performs various duties including inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of valves and equipment, as well as mentoring and on-the-job training of junior technicians.
Requirements
- Locate, use, and comprehend manufacturer installation and operation manuals
- Perform inspection to identify necessary corrective action as authorized
- Perform PMI
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot valves and other equipment per applicable codes and standards
- Install instrumentation/accessories as necessary
- Operate diagnostic equipment
- Perform calibration of measurement equipment
- Measure and record critical dimensions
- Support junior technicians through mentoring and/or on-the-job training
- Act in a leadership role for assigned area
