Job Description
Humber River Health is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide for its Food Services team. The role involves creating and maintaining a healthy and tasty restaurant-style menu, ensuring patient well-being, and upholding a safe food handling environment. The position contributes to the hospital's high-reliability care and emphasizes community connection.
Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School diploma, equivalent, or higher education
- Minimum of 3 years hospital food service experience
- Good command of the English language
- Minimum of 3 years hospital food service experience, including safe food handling and HACCP knowledge preferred
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Computer Knowledge (asset)
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements
- Ability to lift 25lbs or more
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
