Medical Laboratory Technologist, Pathology

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic team at Humber River Health. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing tests on tissue, blood and other body fluids. Our team uses state of the art equipment, technology and processes to collect and test clinical specimens in order to obtain information about the health of our patients.

Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Current registration as General Medical Laboratory Technologist or Histology/Cytology specialty with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
• Successful passing of Clinical Skill Tests required
• 3-5 years of recent Clinical Pathology experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively alone or with all team members, including co-workers, physicians and other health care team members
• Excellent attendance and discipline free record required
