Job Description
Join our Laboratory Medicine team at Humber River Health and help deliver timely and accurate test results and improve patient outcomes. As a Pathologist Assistant II, you will perform gross examination of surgical pathology specimens and assist with autopsies under the direction of a pathologist.
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Science and/or related discipline
- Certification or candidacy with the Canadian Certification Council of Pathologists' Assistants (CCCPA) or equivalent
- Experience in surgical pathology specimen grossing
- Strong knowledge in human anatomy, dissection techniques, and anatomical presentation of diseased tissues
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
