Job Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work in our Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit within the Mental Health and Addictions Program. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of mental health patients in the acute phase of the illness. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to effectively manage stress and prioritize tasks.
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS/CPR certification
- Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing or willingness to obtain
- BScN or a degree in health sciences preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent mental health nursing experience preferred
- Formal CPI certification preferred
