Job Description
Humber River Health is seeking a Part-time Registered Practical Nurse to join the Medicine, 9 West Unit in the Acute Inpatient Medicine Program. This role focuses on providing patient care within a digital hospital setting, utilizing technology to improve efficiency and patient outcomes. The position offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment dedicated to providing high-quality care and community engagement.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing diploma program.
- Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum 1 year acute medical/surgical experience preferred.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to prioritize.
- Experience with patient health teaching.
- Adherence to hospital's code of conduct.
- Demonstrated competency in various skills including (but not limited to), intramuscular injections, intravenous therapy, etc.
- Attendance record and demonstration of discipline.
