We are looking for a team of 30-60 people to help run weekend activities for adult retreats and winter camp, creating fun, safe, and Christ-centered experiences at Hume Lake. This is a weekend only, hands-on role that supports camps, retreats, and guest groups in all seasons.
Requirements
- Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others.
- Collaboration: proven ability to work well with diverse teams in quick paced environments,
- Additional Skills: strong observation, listening, and communication skills.
- Organization: ability to maintain organization while juggling several different tasks.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in High Adventure or Lifeguard preferred
- Ability to lead and interact with youth and adults
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Customer Service experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Lifeguard Certification ( or willingness to obtain)
- High Adventure Trained ( or willingness to obtain)
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; maybe on uneven or rugged terrain.
- Must be able to live and work in extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to live at high altitude and in small living quarters.
