Senior Systems Administrator

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator with extensive experience in Microsoft-based environments. The role is hands-on and ideal for an IT professional who thrives in a complex production environment, who is comfortable operating at a senior level, solving real world technical challenges, delivering reliable and forward-thinking IT solutions, while taking ownership of infrastructure performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements

• Architect, administer, and support Windows Server environments.
• Own and manage Active Directory.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365.
• Manage endpoint configuration, policies, and compliance using Intune.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, access, and system issues.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance.
• Implement and maintain patching, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support and improve security posture in collaboration with leadership.
• Assist with networking-related tasks as needed (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VLANs, routing, etc.).
• Participate in IT planning, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Provide escalation-level support and mentorship to other IT staff when needed.
• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Be a self starter and work either as a team or independently.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment with minimal downtime.
