Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer serves as the primary liaison between Husqvarna’s manufacturing operations and its supply base, ensuring that supplier-related quality issues are effectively managed and resolved.

Requirements

• Initial interface between the factory and supplier regarding quality deviations
• Involve necessary Husqvarna functions to solve supplier-related quality problems
• Drive improvements to internal processes
• Provide feedback to suppliers on quality deviations
• Initiate and drive closure of supplier 8D’s
• Validation of supplier root cause analysis
• Regular data collection and KPI reporting
• Review and disposition deviation approval requests
• Support and collaborate with Global SQA team
• Visit suppliers
• Involvement in New Product Introduction process
