Job Description
Hypebeast is seeking a Web Developer to enhance their web applications using React, Next.js, and Python. They are a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, focusing on editorially-driven news and commerce. The role involves both front-end and back-end development, and requires a strong collaborative approach.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development
- Expertise in frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript, React (with Next.js) and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS
- Strong experience with either Python (FastAPI) or PHP (Symfony)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery)
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
- Understanding of web security best practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
