Job Description
Iambic Therapeutics is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry to lead a team of medicinal chemists and drive molecular discovery for drug development. The role involves coordinating a multidisciplinary team, interfacing with external collaborators, and leveraging computational methods to develop new molecules. The position is based at the San Diego Headquarters.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry
- 15+ years or Masters with 18+ years of Pharma/bio-tech drug discovery experience
- Expertise in modern synthetic organic chemistry
- Proven leadership and program management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Experience working with computational chemists and target protein degradation
- Track record of program leadership, including preclinical development
