IAV is seeking a student to develop and test an Reinforcement Driver model. This role involves developing the IAV Reinforcement Driver model, performing closed-loop maneuvers with the in-house RL Driver, and supporting objective evaluation of vehicle behavior. The internship requires a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and programming skills in Python.

Requirements

• Diploma in automotive technology, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or related field
• Familiarity with RL frameworks (e.g., Stable Baselines3)
• First experience with IPG CarMaker
• Very good programming skills Python
• Fundamentals of vehicle dynamics
• At least German B2 - Level
