Physics Service Engineer

IBA (Ion Beam Applications) is seeking a Physics Service Engineer for a fixed-term contract, starting in January 2026. The role involves installation, calibration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support at a Proton Therapy Center, focusing on beam-related equipment and data analysis. The contract includes training and is expected to last 11 months with a possible extension.

Requirements

• Participating in the installation of IBA's proton therapy equipment.
• Performing beam-related equipment calibration.
• Operating the system and interpreting data.
• Troubleshooting and ensuring system compliance.
• Managing commissioning activities (e.g., PBS) and troubleshooting.
• Maintenance and preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Training customers and providing technical support.
