Flight Software Test Automation Engineer

Flight Software Test Automation Engineer position at ICEYE, responsible for building automated quality gates for mission-critical satellite flight software. The role involves developing hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop based automation, testing workflows, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is proficient in Python and shell scripting, has experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools, and excellent communication skills in English.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python and shell scripting in Linux-based environments.
• Experience with test automation frameworks in the past, including CI/CD tools such as Github Actions.
• Worked within the software development lifecycle, involved in testing and automation best practices, CI/CD principles.
• Exposure to hardware testing, integrating automated testing pipelines and coordinating robust lab-based test execution.
• Proactive, dynamic problem-solving attitude and a mindset to work as one to deliver a high quality product.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
