Job Description
ICEYE is seeking an AIT Spacecraft AOCS Engineer to take ownership of the integration and verification of the satellite's Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS). This hands-on role involves working closely with Engineering and Production teams, defining integration strategies, testing systems, and ensuring reliability throughout assembly and validation. The position requires a deep technical understanding of control systems and experience with satellite system-level integration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with aerospace/robotics (or similar) control systems
- Understanding of how embedded systems are validated in real hardware
- Experience translating software logic into testable behaviors
- Hands-on experience with integration and testing sensors and actuators, and complex mechatronic or embedded systems
- Working knowledge of Python, bash or scripting tools for test automation, data logging, and analysis
- Experience working as the interface between Production and Engineering
- Strong collaboration skills
