Job Description
Ichor Systems is hiring a Machinist to operate manual lathes in Fremont, CA. The role involves setting up and operating lathes to produce precision parts while adhering to specifications, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality. The successful candidate will work independently and support a team.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years manufacturing or related work experience
- A.A. degree or equivalent experience, or any combination of education and experience
- Vocational or technical training or equivalent
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of various cutting tools
- Strong understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to handle fragile products
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
