Job Description
The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products during manufacturing to ensure they meet customer standards. This includes measuring parts, comparing results to drawings/specifications, documenting measurements, and communicating findings to the manufacturing team. The role requires accuracy, thorough communication, and adherence to manufacturing guidelines.
Requirements
- Perform first piece, work-in-process, final, visual, and first article inspections
- Support manufacturing with mechanical and visual inspection
- Record and maintain quality records
- Accurately communicate inspection results to the manufacturing team
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Good vision and ability to use microscopes or magnifiers
