6th-12th Exceptional Student Education Teacher Applicant Pool - IDEA Tampa Bay Region (Immediate Opening)

IDEA Exceptional Student Education teachers are responsible for the achievement and support of special education students with diverse learning and disabilities. They work with students in in-class support for various subjects, individualized education plans, and adaptive services to help them succeed in school. They also act as a bridge between home and school to support both students and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
• Valid state certification in Exceptional Student Education
• Current GT endorsement or willingness to earn it
• Knowledge of core academic subject and curriculum
• Ability to instruct and manage student behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
