Job Description
IDEA Rising Independence through Support and Education (RISE) is seeking a K-5th Intervention Specialist to ensure students with a range of learning and behavioral disabilities are provided with high achievement expectations and the support they need to reach their full potential. This role involves teaching all subjects, providing resources, emotional support, and facilitating student success in a team setting. The position offers flexible work arrangements, including potential for additional compensation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license specializing in Moderate/Intensive special needs
- Experience in a Special Education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
