Welder

Ideal Electric Company seeks an experienced welder to support production objectives through understanding welding principals and extensive knowledge of various welding types. The position works closely with the Production and Engineering teams to ensure welding processes are performed in accordance with prints and order specifications.

Requirements

• High School diploma or certified equivalent
• Welding certification(s) preferred
• Experience in a variety of welding disciplines including, but not limited to, torch cutting, plasma cutting, rolling, braking, punching, shearing, sawing
• Ability to read prints, charts, tables, sketches, and specifications
• Experience using forklift, overhead cranes and other lifting devices is helpful
• Teamwork approach with excellent communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills
