Job Description
IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for LAN/Server Technician to join our customer in Phoenix, AZ. This is an ONSITE position. The role involves server support, desktop support, troubleshooting hardware problems, and implementing potential solutions.
Requirements
- General working knowledge of infrastructure technologies
- Ticketing and Department operating procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft products including operating systems (XP, W7 and W10) and Office
- Knowledge of Macintosh operating system for both desktops and servers (Yosimite)
- Computer hardware configuration and repair knowledge
- Knowledge of Ethernet network topology to assist with troubleshooting network issues
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure industry standards and best practices
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Excellent self-organization and time management skills
- Problem definition and alternative analysis skills
- Active Directory
- Experience with Windows 7 and 10
- Experience supporting a Mac environment
- Experience with Project Management
- Experience with Scripting
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Backup solutions
