Job Description
Idealworks is seeking a Field Service Technician specializing in robotics and automation to install, configure, and commission robots and IoT devices at customer sites. This role involves ensuring robotic systems are safely installed, connected, and ready for operation, as well as providing operator training and support.
Requirements
- Strong interest in computers, robotics, and electrical systems
- Basic experience with low-voltage electrical work, wiring, or sensors
- Hands-on knowledge of network setup (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Confident using Linux systems and command-line tools
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and organization skills
- Fluent in English (B2,C1,C2) and in German (C1,C2)
- Class B driver's license in Germany
- Willingness to travel 80–100% of the time
