Quality Engineer (m/w/d)

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in product and supplier quality, a strong technical understanding, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics, or a comparable field
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of product and supplier quality in a hardware/manufacturing environment
• High willingness to learn, curiosity, and the ability to structure and communicate complex relationships
• Outstanding problem-solving skills (FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why)
• Experience with ISO 9001 audits and supplier audits
• Knowledge in Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design for Quality (DfQ)
• Skills in cost optimization and waste reduction
• Technical understanding of hardware (mechanics, electrics) and manufacturing processes
• Strong communication skills, convincing appearance, and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers
• Outstanding sense of responsibility and decision-making ability
• Readiness for travel for audits and supplier visits
• Very good knowledge of German and English
