Job Description
DevOps Engineer position available at Intelliswift Software, Inc. in Woodland Hills, MD. Responsibilities include automating environments configuration and deployments for J2EE and.NET platforms, configuring and troubleshooting networking services, and using configuration automation tools.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps build and/or environment automation
- 4+ years of experience working with Linux and Windows
- 3+ years of experience configuring supporting J2EE or.NET Middleware platforms
- 2+ years of experience using configuration automation tools, like Puppet or Chef
- Strong proficiency in configuring, deploying and troubleshooting all of the following networking services: IIS, Apache, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs
- Experience with version control systems, like GIT or Subversion
- Proficient in at least one of the scripting languages, like Python, JAVA, or Unix Shell
- A fast learner and self-starter with in-depth knowledge in latest technologies in DevOps
- Takes ownership and has a sense of pride in their work
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
