Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to create RESTful web services using Java, recommend and implement major changes to the web application architecture, and provide technical leadership and expertise during the development/implementation phase.
Requirements
- Expert programmer in Java
- Thorough understanding of Java EE architecture, with a focus on EJBs, JPA, and JAX-RS web services
- Experience writing RESTful web services
- Have worked within a microservices architecture
- Ability to communicate technical design concepts to business and technical stakeholders
- Operate at the leading edge of technology
- Front-end web development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 is desirable
- Understanding of AJAX, object-oriented JavaScript, the DOM and JSON
- Experience with virtualization technologies like Oracle VM and VMWare
- Have spent time as part of an agile development team (preferably Scrum)
- 7+ years of industry experience
- BS/MS in computer science or related field
