Requirements
- Experience in SRE, DevOps or Production Operations role
- Hands on experience scripting with Perl, Python or Ruby
- Experience working with Linux and Windows
- Experience configuring continuous integration tools, like Jenkins or Bamboo
- Experience with version control systems, like GIT or Subversion
- Familiarity with: NoSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Hadoop
- Knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS/SQL, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering
- Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
- Strong general technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with high volume web environments handling millions of users and millions of transactions per day
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of SDLC, Release Engineering, Performance Engineering and Site Operations.
