Java Team Lead

We are looking for a Java Team Lead to join our team at IDEMIA IST. As a Java Team Lead, you will be responsible for translating the Division and/or entity strategy into team roadmaps and objectives and ensuring they are achieved. You will coach, mentor, and support the growth of a team, partner with business and other teams’ leaders to determine a common development roadmap, and drive continuous improvements and contributions to best practices.

Requirements

• Translating the Division and/or entity strategy into team roadmaps and objectives
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting team growth
• Partnering with business and other teams’ leaders to determine a common development roadmap
• Driving continuous improvements and contributions to best practices
• Acting as a point of escalation and taking ownership of major incidents
• Keeping up to speed with fast-paced technical landscape and recommending or implementing new technologies
• Identifying opportunities for technology to spot new business initiatives, increase revenue, reduce cost, and delight IDEMIA's customers
• Managing one or two teams within a domain
• Managing team deliveries, budget, and schedule
• Owning responsibility for team performance
• Managing team development (skills, career evolution, etc.)
• Managing team engagement and responsibility for team motivation
• Ensuring policies and standards implementation within the team
• Participating in domain strategy definition and ensuring its execution
• Representing the team in front of stakeholders and ecosystem
• Influencing decision-making
