Job Description
Database Engineer III responsible for designing and implementing complex reporting solutions with strong experience in semantics/metadata design. The role involves building tooling to rapidly make important information visible and available to both internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an data visualization and analytics
- Strong knowledge of SQL and retrieving data from relational database systems
- Previous experience working with large data sets using big data technologies including Greenplum or other MPP database systems
- Previous experience with advanced SQL programming including DML and DDL
- Familiarity with scripting / programming in Java, Python, Matlab, R, and / or VBA
