Mechanical Maintenance Technician

IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. They are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team at IKO Glass Fiber Inc. in Chester, SC.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent: technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and diagrams
• Proficiency in using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls when necessary.
