Job Description
IKS Health is seeking an experienced medical coder to provide coding and abstracting services for clients on outpatient SDS CPT records using ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT coding systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of coding principles, software, and medical terminology, and will be able to work independently in a remote environment.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years of coding experience in an academic/teaching facility
- Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPS, and CPT coding principles and guidelines
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of coding accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
