Job Description
The Information Systems Advisor II – Systems & Programming Division within the Illinois Secretary of State’s office is seeking a highly specialized role involving application development for various departments. This position requires technical consulting, system design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of complex systems. The advisor will also manage projects and work closely with users, vendors, and internal staff. The role involves providing support to supervisors and assisting with staff evaluations.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of two years of college, with coursework in the computer science field AND 4.5 years of experience with technical systems and/or programming experience and/or IT project management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Requires extensive knowledge of systems design and implementation.
- Requires knowledge of systems documentation.
