Legal Advisor II (Attorney)

The Legal Advisor II (Attorney) provides primary legal advice to the Office of the Inspector General, supervises staff, and participates in investigations, audits, and policy development.

Requirements

• Requires knowledge of common law, Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to State government
• Ability to plan, supervise and review the work of investigations and accompanying legal and quasi-legal activities
• Ability to analyze and appraise facts, evidence, and precedents in developing pertinent issues and applying fundamental principles to unusual, difficult, and complex problems
