Job Description
Join Illumina as a Systems Integration Engineer/Scientist 1 and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art genomic sequencing tools. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to plan, execute, and analyze experiments, with a focus on automating library preparation workflows.
Requirements
- Operation of Next Generation Sequencing instruments
- Hands-on testing and integration of DNA sequencing systems
- Program liquid handlers and develop automated workflow
- Execute design verification and validation test plans
- Experiment planning, execution, troubleshooting, data analysis and interpretation
- Analysis of complex/large data sets
- Effective presentation and communication of results to colleagues
