IMI Industrial Services Group is seeking a full-time Electrician local to the Covington, GA area. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for accurately applying mathematical skills, reading and interpreting blueprints, and installing electrical conduit and control/power distribution panels.
Requirements
- Accurately apply intermediate mathematical skill, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, & conversion of fractions and decimals.
- Read & interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, & install electrical conduit using tools, such as hacksaw, pipe threading equipment, rules, & conduit benders.
- Rigid conduit experience is a plus.
- Assist in the installation of control/power distribution panels and transformers along with items such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, and fastens in place with screws or bolts using hand or power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown. Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems.
