Job Description
Independent Software is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Level 3, to support the security posture of critical systems. This role involves risk assessments, compliance documentation, system hardening, vulnerability assessment, and collaboration with stakeholders. The position offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity best practices within a mission-driven environment.
Requirements
- Assist senior ISSOs in implementing and enforcing information systems security policies.
- Perform configuration management for information system security software and hardware.
- Maintain records of system components.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation.
- Track and manage user identification and authentication mechanisms.
- Support vulnerability and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with engineers and customers to ensure compliance.
