STEM Pioneer Learning Assistant - Peer Tutor

The STEM Pioneer Learning Assistant - Peer Tutor provides academic support and encourages students to become independent learners. They work with students, faculty, and staff to promote student success and maintain a conducive learning environment.

Requirements

• Enrollment as a full or part-time student at Indian River State College with grades of 'B' or higher in tutorial discipline
• Ability to convey knowledge of tutorial discipline to others
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Computer proficiency in basic computer applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Ability to positively represent the ASC
