Job Description
IU Health is seeking a dedicated Master’s-Level Licensed Counselor (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or HSPP) to provide expert outpatient mental health services at Gateway Plaza. The role involves providing individual, family, and group therapy, discharge planning, and crisis intervention. Collaboration with various healthcare teams and community resources is essential for coordinated care. The position supports patients from child abuse/neglect to elder abuse/neglect to institutional abuse and domestic violence.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health field.
- Current Indiana license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or HSPP.
- 3-5 years of relevant healthcare, mental health, or community experience preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices (CBT, MI, DBT) is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
