Job Description
IU Health is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist I for a full-time position at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves preparing and providing neurophysiological testing and monitoring, including standard and emergency assessments. The position requires knowledge of neurophysiological patterns and requires regular reporting and triaging patient needs. This role is 7am-7:30pm, 3 days a week.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associate's Degree preferred
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Eligible pathway for R.EEG T. or EP credentialing
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year experience (preferred)
- Student or graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program (preferred)
- Able to meet all EEG competencies based on department requirements
- Required manual dexterity, visual acuity and ability to concentrate for extended periods
