The Accounting Clerk II provides financial management and administrative support services to the NAWCAD Comptroller Group and Business Analysis Group. The role involves providing overarching budget and financial support, computing and tracking numerical data, and maintaining accounting records.
Requirements
- Active secret clearance
- HS Diploma
- Two (2) years of experience providing financial management support to DoD/DoN
- Understanding of Navy Working Capital Funds (NWCF) and General Funds
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
