Engineering Technician IV - Infrastructure

The Engineering Technician IV - Infrastructure provides Operations and Maintenance support services for all of NUWCDIVNPT Code 25's facilities and infrastructure support equipment. They will perform tasks such as scheduling, escorting visitors, monitoring facility status, and installing equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with installation and test of combat and weapon systems, and experience working in a computer and test and evaluation laboratory with shipboard equipment and configurations.

Requirements

• Active secret clearance
• HS Diploma
• At least 5 years of experience with installation and test of combat and weapon systems
• At least 5 years of experience working in a computer and a test and evaluation laboratory with shipboard equipment and configurations
• At least 5 years of experience working with laboratory HVAC equipment and chill water systems
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) qualified for pallet/bottle jacks, table lifts and similar load bearing equipment
• Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
