Food Program Facilitator Worker – Full Time
London, Ontario – Cove’s Landing
Salary: $46,800-$55,700
Reporting to the Food Program Coordinator, the Food Program Facilitator will be responsible for the coordination and execution of the meal program within the London region.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
- Experience with menu creation, budget adherence, hospitality, and food ordering.
- Good working knowledge of commercial grade equipment.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Safe Food Handling Certification (or willingness to complete the course prior to employment).
- A warm, sensitive, and caring approach with a genuine interest in supporting a diverse population of people living with mental health and/or substance use related illnesses.
- Ability to work independently, be flexible, organized, responsible, and take initiative.
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy objects (e.g., dish racks, bulk food items, delivery bins, and occasional appliances).
- Valid driver’s license required.
