Accountant

Accountant job description: Performs daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes, prepares month-end journal entries, and assists Senior Accountants with research. Requires a degree in Accounting or Finance, Excel skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Four year college graduate with a major in Accounting or equivalent
• One to two years of accounting or related experience, preferably in the gaming and/or hotel industry
• Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office
• Familiarity of state regulations
• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles GAAP
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet assigned deadlines as required
