Cable Technician

Cable Technician needed for 12+ months contract. Installation of cable, wiring, wireless AP's, termination and testing of Cat 5/6 and fiber optic cabling. Excellent communication skills required.

Requirements

• Cat 5E/6 network cable installation experience
• Network cable termination at patch panel and jack location
• Ability to lift / carry 50 lbs of tools
• Ability to climb ladders (up to 12ft) and work pulling cable on them
• Use of LAN and voice test equipment and tone sets to verify cabling
• Moderate experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting network equipment such as layer 2 and layer 3 LAN switches
• Fiber Optic Cabling experience
