Java Backend Developer

Design and develop high volume, low latency applications for mission-critical systems, supporting web-based application development and maintenance, and contributing to the growth of the software engineering competency.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• At least 7 years of experience as a developer
• Expert in Java and Enterprise Java technologies
• Expert in the Spring framework
• Expert in designing and implementing RESTful web services
• Ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including Docker and Jenkins/Concourse
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as GCP
• Agile delivery practices
• Test driven development
• Test automation
• Continuous delivery
• Solid understanding of hibernate
• Solid understanding of microservices
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and NoSQL
• Experience with maven and gradle
• Proficient in using Git for version control
• Native Spanish speaker
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
