FPGA & DSP Engineer (Quantum RF)

Infleqtion is seeking a motivated Control Systems Engineer with FPGA and DSP experience for a full-time position in their UK office (Kidlington, Oxford). The role involves engineering electronic solutions for controlling quantum RF sensors, inertial navigation systems, and atomic clocks. The company is focused on bridging the gap between theoretical physics and real-world applications of quantum technology.

Requirements

• Significant experience working in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in implementing DSP algorithms, digital transceivers, and control loops on FPGAs using VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog.
• Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of digital and RF hardware.
• Competence in controlling FPGA IP blocks programmatically via software, through e.g. AXI bus.
• Hands-on experience with electrical test, verification, and validation of products and subsystems.
• Experience with FPGA SoC/SoM devices such as Xilinx Zynq. Experience with Xilinx RFSoCs highly advantageous.
