Job Description
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer plays a key role in the design, development and delivery of Infravision’s state-of-the-art robotic and aerospace stringing systems. This role is responsible for leading mechanical design activities across new product development, prototyping and production support, ensuring optimal performance, manufacturability, safety and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 8+ years’ experience in mechanical design engineering (aerospace, robotics, heavy equipment or industrial systems highly regarded)
- Strong proficiency in Solidworks CAD and FEA tools
- Demonstrated experience in taking products from concept through to production
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication methods
- Experience working in high-risk or safety-critical environments is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
